Engineered Lifting Systems & Equipment Inc. (ELS) provides standard and custom overhead material lifting systems and equipment on time, on budget, while exceeding the expectations of our domestic and international customers. We make difficult jobs seem easy.

Role Responsibilities:

•Time manages daily activities to meet required deadlines of job order combined with verbal collaboration with supervisor, including following prints, diagrams and manufacturing information sheets.
• Assemble and mount electrical, mechanical and sub-assembly components onto pan, into enclosures, structures etc. by following standard layouts.
• Wire electrical products with basic/standard options as required by following customer drawing packages and schematics.
• Wire electrical products with a following drawing packages and schematics under the direction of a more experienced Electrical Assembler.
• Check for functionality by performing continuity checks.
• Complete accurately checklists as required to deadlines
• Assemble enclosures/structures where applicable.
• Support inventory maintenance by performing cycle counts, following standard materials management procedures.
• Perform all job functions with adherence to ELS's Philosophy and Values as well as the Safety and Environmental standards.


Training Requirements/Job Qualifications

- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and to change, to suit Company needs.
- Be a team player, self motivated.
- Work independently.
- Organizational & Communication skills.
- Above average organizational and communication skills
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- At least 1 year experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing setting with the ability to work in      Canada.
- Competent with hand tools and torque wrenches and screwdrivers.
- Able to drill and tap holes in steel back planes.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.
-Special requirement, possession and maintaining valid driver's license for occasional travel between ELS    plants and on-site client locations.
